Leduc Comp Roars!

The Leduc Comp Tigers Football Team roared out to three convincing wins to start the season. The team began their season hosting the Beaumont Bandits in an exhibition game played in Leduc on Friday Sept 14, 2012.
The Tiger defense held Beaumont scoreless while the offense piled up 31 points for a convincing victory.
On Thursday Sept. 20th, the Leduc boys ramped it up to another level as they faced the Fort Saskatchewan Sting and stung them by a 59 to 0 score. This was the team’s first Metro Miles Conference League game.
Leduc Comp continued its defensive dominance as they kept St Francis Xavier off the scoreboard on Thursday Sept 27th at Foote Field in Edmonton. The team offense romped away with a 44-0 win.
To date, the Leduc Tigers have scored 134 points while yet to allow a single point. The team has two remaining games before the playoffs begin. Their next game will be played against Holy Trinity on Thursday Oct 4th at Johnny Bright Park with their last league game on Friday Oct 12th against Beaumont at Clarke Parke. Both games begin at 7:30pm
The Miles Conference quarter-finals will begin on Mon. Oct 22nd ,and the final is scheduled for Saturday Nov 3rd, with the provincial playoffs begin Nov 10th and end on Nov 23rd and 24th at Foote Field in Edmonton.
