William J. Pidde, MD, FRCSC

Dr. William Jacob (Bill) Pidde, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on October 23, 2012 at the age of 82.

 

Dad leaves behind to mourn his loss, his beloved wife of 25 years, Helen, four children Gordon (Leanne), Richard (Patty), Glenda and Paul (Leigha) and six Grandchildren; Derek, Justin, Monica, Lana, Ellise and Jacob. He also leaves behind his two sisters Lea Campbell and Lily Trueman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, collegues, patients and friends. Dad was predeceased by his parents Rudolf and Rosalie, his brother-in-law Dr. Vince Campbell, his sister Selma and her husband Henry Kurtz as well as recently by his niece Ruthy Trueman.

 

Dad, you will be deeply missed and forever loved. 

 

The family wants to send a special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and The Wetaskiwin General Hospital for their kind and dedicated care. A tribute to dad’s life was held at the Baker Funeral Chapel; 5302-50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin, Alberta on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Alberta Society; 102, 11748 Kingsway Avenue
