CTK at Provincials

The Christ the King (CTK) girls’ volleyball team competed at the Alberta Schools Athletic Provincial Championships. The Championships began on Thursday November 22nd and ended on Saturday November 24th and were held in Rimbey.
Twelve teams from as far north as Peace River competed in the three-day event. CTK was placed in a pool that included the defending Champions from Spirit River, Vegreville, Three Hills, Magrath, and St Dominic’s from Rocky Mt. House.
The other pool consisted of schools from Vauxhall, Peace River, Mayerthrope, Calgary, Okotoks, and the host Rimbey.
CTK began the tournament when they faced St Dominic’s Thursday morning. The match went to a third and final game. Unfortunately the Chargers came out on the losing end 15 to 9 and dropped the
