Christmas Giving at Millet School

Once again the annual Millet School Christmas Giving Project was a huge success!  Thank you to the Millet School students, staff, families, friends and community for overwhelmingly supporting our project.
    This year we chose a project with a global focus.  We were happy to support the WATER RAFIKI project.  This worthy initiative is supported by the ME to We organization and is raising funds to provide clean drinking water for people around the world.  Every $10 donation purchases one beaded chain which is made by women in Kenya.  The women are employed by Me to We Artisans and receive a fair wage year round ensuring they are able to purchase food and other necessities for their families.
    Millet School is proud to announce that we raised $1700.00 which is our largest amount ever!  With that we ordered 170 beaded chains. Most importantly we have provided one year of clean water for 170 people around the world!
    That is a tremendous result and we thank everyone once again for their generous support.
