Griffiths-Scott School

Practicing for the big play.
Snow is melting and puddles are forming. Spring is marching in with strong thoughts to push winter out. As winter is being pushed out the season of basketball ends. This means badminton is here and the school play is ready to be seen.
Both our Griffins basketball teams did not take home a win. They both tried their hardest but unfortunately they just weren’t lucky. Hopefully with the badminton season, we will have one pair or a single take home win. At this point all we can do is hope for the best and wait to see the out come.
The spring play is on Tuesday, March 14. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the play. Many students from elementary to junior high, have worked long and hard. They have spent almost every lunch hour, and many hours after school to make this play perfect.
At the end of it all we are only recognizing the students but the one who has put most work into it, would be Ms. Gregg, the teacher behind the whole operation. She has props, costumes and most of all has kept the students focused and kept the whole play going. Ms. Gregg keeps things fun, and students from the play say having to spend all that time with her isn’t that bad because she keeps things interesting.
The excitement to see the play and how it turns out, is building. Hopefully there will be a good turn out for who shows up. Wish the actors luck!
