On January 18, 2011, Hedvig Wolter of Wetaskiwin passed away at the age of 96 years.

Hedvig is survived by her loving family; son, Erwin Wolter (Sharon)of Falun; daughters, Ida (John) Guch of Drayton Valley, Elsie (Winston) Shave of Queen Charlotte Islands; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery. Memorial tributes gratefully accepted to the charity of one’s choice.
